As seen in "Going The Distance" myself and Ross Faucet ,a  field producer for "At Your Leisure" A local TV Outdoor and Recreation  series seen on ABC channel 4 in Salt Lake City Utah,  road the 602 mile distance from 5 mile pass to Saint George Utah. It  becomes  evident  the reason for my journey, as told by AYL. Their production is a great story about me, but it left the bigger story untold.
       I went back and re -road and re- filmed the journey, but as the production of the video went on, it was plain that the story was no longer about me.  It had become about the stories that were told along the way. So I created Ghost Rider, an ATVer, who drifts the mountains, valleys and deserts of Utah and Nevada to bring you the viewer the rest of the story. They are good stories that are beginning to be lost in time. Tales of   Ghost towns like Scranton, Joy, Stateline and people such as Matt Evans, Mary Laird, Bob Stinson, are all  gone with just a little evidence left, to mark their passing. I have done the  best I could, to keep these stories alive, about  the people and places I passed along the way. Thirteen different stories of Ghost Towns, Miners, Cattlemen, Store keepers, Travelers, Hermits, Rustlers and the local folklore along the way.
